Director Hemant Dhome has always delivered blockbuster films in Marathi cinema, known for their realistic plots that resonate with audiences. His recent two-part film Jhimma was a huge success. Now, he is ready to present another film deeply rooted in rural life, titled First-class Dabhade, set to release on November 15. The movie promises to showcase the crazy adventures of siblings. Presented by T-Series and Anand L. Rai, produced by Color Yellow Productions and Chitralekha Mandali Productions, First-class Dabhade has been written and directed by Hemant Dhome. It stars Kshitee Jog, Siddharth Chandekar, and Amey Wagh in lead roles, with more actors joining the cast.
The first look reveals Amey Wagh wearing a traditional turban, sitting on a tractor alongside Kshitee Jog and Siddharth Chandekar, with a decorated house in the background, hinting at a major event. What exactly will unfold in the story of Sonu, Pappu, and Taidi will only be revealed when the movie hits the theaters.
Speaking about the film, Hemant Dhome says, “This is a very personal subject for me. I’ve tried to portray what I’ve lived and observed. It’s often said that when the story is close to the writer and director’s heart, it also connects deeply with the audience. I was determined to shoot this movie in my village, on my own land, and I’m delighted that I could fulfill this wish with my beloved team. The film is now ready, and it will release on November 15."
Producer Anand L. Rai adds, “First-class Dabhade is a story that beautifully presents the complexities of sibling relationships. It’s a celebration of the bond where love, rivalry, and humor coexist in harmony. Hemant Dhome has brought this unique sibling story to life with charm and emotional depth, and I’m proud to bring it to the audience through Color Yellow Productions. I believe this film will strike a chord with everyone who has shared a special bond with their siblings.”
Producer Bhushan Kumar adds, “First-class Dabhade portrays human emotions within relationships with great simplicity. This film deeply connects with its human storyline, reflecting family life in India, especially in Maharashtra. The vibrant culture and heartwarming narrative of this film will be presented to the audience with compassion and sincerity.”
