Actors share their memorable journeys on National Tourism Day!

Travel is more than just a journey; it is a soulful experience that enriches our lives, creates cherished memories, and connects us to the world in profound ways. On this National Tourism Day, &TV actors take us through their recent adventures. These include Smita Sable (Dhaniya from Bheema), Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan), and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabhi from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai).

Shubhangi Atre, aka Angoori Bhabhi from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “This year began with an incredible spiritual journey that left me feeling truly blessed. My first stop was Varanasi, a city that radiates divine energy and unparalleled serenity. Walking along the ghats of the Ganga and witnessing the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti in the evening was nothing short of magical. The chants, the aroma of incense, and the sight of lamps floating on the river created an ethereal atmosphere. Offering prayers at the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple was a deeply emotional moment, connecting me to my spiritual roots in a way I had never experienced before. After Varanasi, I embarked on my spiritual journey to Ujjain, where I visited the revered Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. The temple’s divine atmosphere and the chance to offer prayers to Lord Shiva filled my heart with immense gratitude. The city’s rich history and sacred energy left me in awe.”

Smita Sable, aka Dhaniya from Bheema, shares, “Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Mahabaleshwar with my family, and it turned out to be a trip filled with joy and relaxation. Nestled in the lap of the Western Ghats, Mahabaleshwar’s lush greenery and cool breeze instantly made us feel at peace. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Wilson Point, also known as Sunrise Point, where we witnessed the most breathtaking sunrise. Watching the golden hues of the sun spread over the hills was a magical moment that filled us with awe and gratitude. We also explored Venna Lake, where we enjoyed a serene boat ride surrounded by stunning views of the lake and the forested hills. Another memorable experience was visiting Mapro Garden. The delightful array of strawberries, fresh juices, and the famous strawberry cream was a treat for our taste buds. It was heartwarming to see my family savour the flavours and enjoy the garden’s vibrant atmosphere. Mahabaleshwar offered us a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The trip not only rejuvenated our spirits but also gave us cherished memories of laughter, love, and togetherness.”

Geetanjali Mishra, aka Rajesh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, reflects, “Visiting the Taj Mahal has always been a dream, and I finally had the chance to experience its unparalleled beauty recently. As I stood before this iconic symbol of love, I was struck by its grandeur and timeless charm. The white marble, intricate carvings, and the way the monument glows under the sunlight truly took my breath away. Walking through the lush gardens of the Taj, I felt a sense of peace and awe, imagining the love story behind its creation. The Yamuna River flowing gracefully in the background added grace  to the ambience. Standing on the marble platform and gazing at the majestic dome, I could not help but admire the craftsmanship and dedication that went into building this wonder. The Taj Mahal is not just a monument; it is an experience that touches your heart. This trip was not just about sightseeing—it was about connecting with history and experiencing the beauty of love in its purest form.”
