A recipient of the prestigious GoodHomes India Design Discoveries 2024 award and featured as a Special ID Project at Design ID, Mumbai 2024, Advanced Nature’s work stands at the forefront of design innovation. At Advanced Nature, waste is not inert—it’s alive. Through what we call the ‘chemistry of waste,’ we reimagine discarded materials as resources filled with untapped energy and possibility. Conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve spent the last five years re- imagining solutions that turn industrial, household, and lifestyle waste into sustainable building materials, VOC-free natural paints, eco-friendly tiles and bricks, furniture, lighting, decor and a vast array of everyday living objects. These creations are inspired by India’s rich heritage of ingenuity and craftsmanship and driven by our vision of ensuring children inherit the earth they deserve.
“The environmental crisis is not just an abstract issue—it’s an assault on our children’s future,” says the Advanced Nature team. ‘Every piece of waste we transform is one less burden on the earth and one more step toward building a world where children can thrive in harmony with nature.’
The अन Showcase invites audiences to witness how waste can be reimagined into beautiful, functional objects of daily life. From cement-free building materials and lime- cretes to waste-based veneers and art made from discarded materials, every piece embodies the proof that sustainability is both an art and a science.
