Following the success of Border 2, Ahan Shetty will once again be seen in an action-packed role. The actor is all set to begin shooting for his next film, Sanki. The film is being directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, who has previously made films such as Rustom and Mission Raniganj.
Written by Gyanendra Vasudev, Sanki is essentially a love story. Along with romance and emotions, the film will also feature intense and powerful action sequences. Filming will begin in Bhopal on October 30.
After Ahan’s performance in Border 2 and the film’s major success, he has been carefully selecting his upcoming projects. He will now begin with Sanki, followed by Vikram Bhatt’s film 1920: Cold Winter. He also has a few other projects in the pipeline, which are expected to go into production in 2027.
Director Tinu Suresh Desai is already in Bhopal with his large team. He is putting the final preparations in place ahead of the film’s shooting schedule, which begins on October 30.
For now, the film’s storyline and subject are being kept under wraps. The producers will gradually reveal more details about the project at the appropriate time.
Sanki is being jointly produced by We The People, Roaring River Productions, and Pals and Peers Entertainment.
The film is scheduled to release in cinemas in the first half of 2027.
