Diya Aur Baati Hum actor Amit Das says he gets happiness from a lot of things. It’s especially the little things that give him joy. Speaking on the occasion of the International Day of Happiness, he said, “Happiness, for me, is multifaceted.”
“Taking my dogs out, spending quality time with loved ones, being at home with my mom without work pressure, feeling fulfilled after work, experiencing a captivating play at Prithvi Theatre by Kumud sir or Naseeruddin sir, watching good movies, and having personal time all contribute to my happiness. Things that make me feel good every day make me happy,” he added.
But his happiness is not solely dependent on his career. He said, “It’s more about finding a good balance between my personal and work lives. This balance helps me feel fulfilled and happy, making both parts of my life equally important for my overall well-being.”
On a gloomy day, even a cup of coffee can bring him instant happiness, he said, adding, “watching a film, having conversation with my mother, dancing, reading, or listening to my favorite music. These activities provide immediate gratification and serve as a source of relaxation and joy in the moment.”
