It wouldn’t be wrong to say Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli’s Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain! is the portrait of comedy in the Indian TV industry. The show, which is produced under the Edit II banner, has completed nine years on-air, and is looking forward to completing another nine and beyond.
The show features Aasif Sheikh, Rohitashv Gour, Vidisha Srivastava, and Shubhangi Atre in lead roles and airs on &TV.
Amma arrives at Angoori’s house with her belongings and announces that she will stay there until Tiwari and Angoori have a child. While Tiwari talks to Anita before heading to his shop, Amma interrupts and sends him off. Every time Vibhuti tries to flirt with Angoori, Amma gets in the way, causing frustration for both Tiwari and Vibhuti.
Fed up with Amma’s constant interference, Tiwari and Vibhuti team up with Chacha to create a plan to send Amma away. According to the plan, Chacha starts teasing Amma to irritate her. However, the plan backfires as Chacha and Amma start liking each other.
Meanwhile, Tiwari and Vibhuti learn that Pandit Ramphal, who is Amma’s admirer, is meditating in a jungle. They believe that if they disturb his meditation, he will come back and take Amma away. They convince Saxena to dress up as a woman and break Ramphal’s meditation in exchange for getting an electric shock, which Saxena happily agrees to.
Saxena goes to the jungle in disguise and disrupts Ramphal’s meditation. When Ramphal returns to take Amma with him, he sees her with Chacha and feels heartbroken. Instead, he proposes to Saxena, still dressed as a woman. To everyone’s shock, Saxena accepts the proposal!
However, their happiness is short-lived as a lawyer calls from London, informing Chacha that his accounts will only be unfrozen if he has no romantic involvement with anyone. Hearing this, Chacha breaks off his relationship with Amma. Amma, feeling emotional, laments about her loneliness. Tiwari then informs her that Ramphal is staying at Saxena’s house and encourages her to save her love.
Amma goes to Saxena’s house, pulls off Saxena’s wig, and reveals his true identity. She takes Ramphal with her, and they both decide to return to their village. With Amma and Ramphal gone, Tiwari and Vibhuti finally breathe a sigh of relief.
