For the first time, an actor is partnering with an NGO to showcase the power of womanhood through the medium of dance, incorporating themes of beauty, devotion, strength, and the essence of femininity. Amruta Khanvilkar, known for her natural and graceful acting, is also an accomplished dancer. Her dance performances have always been appreciated by audiences, and ‘World of Stree’ is set to be another extraordinary dance presentation from her. With this production, her dream of performing live in front of an audience is coming true. The highlight of this dance performance is that the audience will experience a unique blend of classical and semi-classical music and dance. This artistic endeavor will showcase the power of women, women’s empowerment, beauty, and devotion. Joining her in this dance performance will be the talented choreographer and dancer Ashish Patil. This 90-minute dance extravaganza will be performed in various theaters in the coming months, with the first show scheduled at Tata Theatre, NCPA, on August 24.
Amruta Khanvilkar, who is well-known as an actress in the film industry, will allow the audience to experience a different side of her through this dance performance.
