Ananya Bhandare’s entrepreneurial journey began at the tender age of 12 when she launched her first venture, La Dolce Vita, a home bakery. “I’ve always loved to bake and sell things! I used to set up a bakery stall at my school during sports day and donate all the proceeds to Jeevashram, an animal shelter,” she recalls. This early experience laid the foundation for her future endeavors, teaching her valuable lessons about business and the joy of creating something meaningful.
Transition to Health Coaching
Ananya’s move to New York for university marked a turning point in her life. Immersed in a culture that prioritized fitness and healthy living, she developed a keen interest in wellness. “I saw fitness studios and healthy cafes and groceries all around me, and got very interested in wellness,” she explains. This newfound passion led her to become a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, equipping her with the knowledge and skills to guide others on their health journeys.

The idea for Jungly Delights was born out of Ananya’s love for traditional Indian superfoods and her desire to make them accessible and enjoyable. “Like most Indians, I grew up with Indian superfoods on my kitchen shelf. But it was while studying in New York that I understood how well they had traveled to the rest of the world,” she shares. Ananya began experimenting in her kitchen, pairing bitter superfoods like ashwagandha and amla with more familiar flavors to create delicious, nutritious snacks.
