Actor Angad Hasija is currently earning praise for portraying the emotionally complex Yashvardhan in Tumm Se Tumm Tak produced by Studio LSD. While viewers are captivated by the intense drama unfolding on screen, Angad says the atmosphere behind the camera is completely different, filled with laughter, friendship and genuine camaraderie.
Speaking about working with Sharad Kelkar, who plays Aryavardhan in the show, Angad revealed that the two actors have known each other for nearly 15 years, making their off-screen relationship extremely comfortable. “People usually think Sharad is a very serious person because of the powerful characters he has portrayed over the years. But in reality, he’s exactly the opposite. He’s incredibly warm, caring and fun-loving. I’ve known him for a long time, and I honestly haven’t seen him change at all despite all the success he’s achieved,” Angad shared.
He further revealed that whenever the two are together on set, their conversations often delay the start of scenes because they enjoy each other’s company so much. “We end up joking around so much that sometimes the director has to remind us that it’s time to shoot. There’s always a very positive atmosphere whenever we’re together,” he laughed.
Apart from Sharad, Angad also spoke warmly about his other co-stars, saying he shares most of his scenes with Anu and thoroughly enjoys shooting with the entire team. According to him, the cast functions like one big family, making even emotionally demanding scenes enjoyable to perform.
The actor also reflected on how the television industry has evolved during his career. Comparing his early days with the present, Angad admitted that today’s audience is vastly different from the one that watched him when he first entered television. “When I started my career, I was completely new to acting. I didn’t even know where the camera was placed. Today, after working on so many shows, I’ve become much more experienced. At the same time, the audience has also changed. Many younger viewers know me from my recent projects and aren’t even aware of the roles I played years ago. For them, Yashvardhan is something entirely fresh,” he explained.
Beyond discussing the show, Angad also offered heartfelt advice to aspiring actors entering the entertainment industry. He believes talent alone isn’t enough and that mental resilience is equally important in a profession that demands long hours and constant hard work. “Television has always required dedication, and that will never change. Before signing a show, I mentally prepare myself for the schedule, the workload and the discipline it demands. Nobody else can fight your battles for you. You have to become your own biggest support system and stay mentally strong through every challenge,” he said.
Teasing the upcoming track in Tumm Se Tumm Tak, Angad promised that Yashvardhan’s journey is only getting started. He revealed that viewers will witness shocking revelations about his character, emotional reunions with his family and a stronger bond with Anu as the story progresses. “The biggest secrets surrounding Yashvardhan are still hidden. As they begin to unfold, audiences will understand why he is the way he is. They’ll also see heartwarming family moments and how Yash stands firmly beside Anu whenever she needs him. I think the upcoming episodes will take the show in a very emotional direction,” he added.
