Anil Kapoor is trending on the OTT platform after his last two theatrical releases Animal and Fighter managed to do well at the box office. The actor is now rumored to be teaming up with award-winning filmmaker S Shankar for the sequel to his critically acclaimed film Nayak.
Anil Kapoor was seen together with the director in Mumbai and since then the talk of Nayak 2 has been rife. The photos of both of them are going viral on social media. Now it will be interesting to see if these two will work together again for Nayak 2. The Anil Kapoor-starrer was a remake of Shankar’s 1999 Tamil-language film Mudhalavan.
The movie starred Rani Mukherjee, Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever. The film released in 2001 and became one of the most critically acclaimed and successful films of the year. Meanwhile, on the work front, while Shankar is gearing up for the release of his Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer, Anil Kapoor has Subhedaar’. The recently announced project is being helmed by Suresh Triveni.
