Anil Kapoor has featured in the TIME100 AI list, which honoured 100 people from different walks of life who created an impact in the world of AI. The megastar featured in the list after the Bollywood actor won a landmark judgement against AI in Delhi High Court. Kapoor had filed a lawsuit to protect his personality rights, seeking protection for his name, image, likeness, voice, and other personal attributes from any sort of misuse, particularly on digital platforms.
The recognition by TIME seems fated as we hear about a film that Kapoor is currently developing - a film about the potential of AI to inspire creativity and change lives for the better.

The actor shared the prestigious list with Hollywood actor Scarlett Johansson, Google CEO Sundar Pichai and others. Previously, the cinema icon had said in an interview that the AI technology “can be completely taken advantage of and be misused commercially”. He said that the court’s order in his favour makes it possible for him to sue anyone who misuses his personal attributes.
