Animal and Fighter are continuing their winning streak even on OTT. Despite new releases, the films have emerged as one of the most-viewed Indian films on Netflix globally. While Fighter has touched the mark of 14 million views, Animal has achieved 13.6 million views. The list also include projects such as Laapataa Ladies, Jawan and Bhakshak among others. The views of Animal and Fighter are proof that the megastar’s cinematic brilliance shines even after weeks of his film’s release. Beyond these two films, Anil Kapoor’s production venture Crew has also achieved a feat that deserves to be celebrated. The film has secured the top spot in the list with 16.7 million views.
Anil Kapoor’s acting prowess peaked when he stepped into two opposite roles for both of his films, respectively. While Kapoor played the role of a father in Animal, he impressively transformed himself into the role of a fighter pilot officer and left everyone amazed by showcasing his versatility. Meanwhile, with Crew, he backed a full-fledged female-led film that also performed impressively well at the box office before landing on OTT.
Now, on the work front, Anil Kapoor is gearing up for his next titled Subedaar, a Suresh Triveni directorial. Rumours are also rife that the actor is entering the YRF Spy Universe soon. Apart from this, the actor is stepping into the shoes of a host for the first time for the much-anticipated reality show Bigg Boss OTT 3, which is slated to stream from June 21 onwards.
