Aradhana Sharma, who is currently seen as Rachna in Suhagan Chudail, says her fitness is not only physical health but mental health too. She believes people should train their body, mind, and soul to ignore all the negativity and just focus on being healthy.
“Being fit means you have to be mentally and physically healthy. You have to keep your soul, body, and mind healthy. Think good, watch good things, ignore all negative influences, and avoid letting them into your life. Keep your willpower strong. Being physically fit means you should eat healthily, exercise daily, and move your body every day,” she said.
“Do whatever you want to do—cycling, cardio, dance—but make sure to move your body. Being mentally fit means keeping your soul healthy. Be positive and train your mind to understand that life includes flaws, success, failure, mistakes, and ups and downs. This is life, and you have to accept it. Train your mind and body accordingly,” she added.
Though her schedule is jam-packed, she maintains a healthy lifestyle to compensate for not getting enough time to workout.
“It is difficult to maintain my fitness routine with such a busy schedule. In the morning, I have my shoot, and later in the evening, when I come back, I’m tired because it takes around an hour to get from the set to home. So, I usually sleep after having dinner because I get so tired. When my schedule is super tight, I barely get 5–6 hours of sleep, have breakfast, and leave for the shoot. But I make sure that I walk and eat healthy,” she said.
Aradhana stressed that 70–80% of fitness depends on one’s diet, so even though she is not able to workout, her focus is on eating healthy. “I do not work out because I’m shooting every day, so I strictly focus on my food, eating healthily in limited portions. When I do work out, I eat a lot and don’t restrict myself. This way, I maintain that balance.”
