Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai explores the changing dynamics between parents and growing children as Armaan finds it difficult to accept Myra’s increasing independence, while Abhira tries to help him understand that their daughters are slowly stepping into their own lives.
The episode begins with Armaan becoming increasingly anxious about Myra’s trip to Jaipur. Vidya tries to reassure him that Myra is safe and has only travelled to attend an event. Meanwhile, Myra reaches the Jaipur festival and notices Armaan’s message. She briefly wonders whether she should focus on enjoying the event or immediately respond to her father.
At the venue, Myra unexpectedly meets Kabir, who has also arrived to participate in a photography event. Their meeting takes them by surprise, and soon they are paired for a social-awareness project. The new assignment gives them an opportunity to work together despite their initial awkwardness.
Armaan calls Myra to check whether she has eaten and how the event is going. His concern quickly turns into a long list of questions, including asking for the contact number of Myra’s partner in case her phone becomes unreachable. Feeling overwhelmed, Myra ends the call, leaving Armaan hurt and wondering why she no longer talks to him the way she once did.
Abhira notices Armaan’s emotional state and reminds him that children eventually grow up and need their own space. She also checks on Mukti and asks about her badminton coach. Mukti assures her that she can handle the situation herself. Abhira realises that both Myra and Mukti are becoming more independent and that the parents need to learn how to accept this change.
Meanwhile, the Damanis continue dealing with the fallout from the factory controversy. Samar watches the news coverage surrounding the company and becomes worried about the damage to its reputation. Raghu and Nandani ask him not to let the media reports affect his health. Samar and Raghu decide to approach Shastri and seek support in rebuilding the company’s public image.
Back home, Kaveri questions Abhira about her decision to appear for the judge’s examination. She asks whether becoming a judge could affect Abhira’s peace, family life and responsibilities at the firm. Abhira admits that Armaan strongly wants to see her in the position, leaving her with an important decision to make.
Armaan’s anxiety about Myra reaches another level when he packs his bags and decides to travel to Jaipur. Abhira stops him and reminds him that Myra has already reached the hotel safely. She explains that his constant questioning may actually be making Myra uncomfortable rather than keeping her safe. Abhira asks Armaan to trust their daughter while still being there for her when she needs him.
As night falls, Armaan continues checking the time and worrying about Myra. Meanwhile, Myra and Kabir work on their Jaipur project. They decide to capture the city’s essence through photographs and written commentary, but their different ideas soon lead to an argument.
The episode ends on a tense note when Armaan hears about suspicious incidents at the hotel and immediately becomes worried. Just then, a message from Myra leaves him even more anxious.
Precap: Abhira comes across a report portraying her and Armaan as a fraudulent couple instead of a successful one. She decides to speak to Armaan, only to learn from Mukti that he has disappeared and his phone is unreachable. No one knows where Armaan has gone.
