The movie Lifeline, which highlights the conflict between old customs and modern science, is set to release in theaters soon. The recently unveiled poster of the film has piqued the audience’s interest, showcasing a dramatic face-off between veteran actors Ashok Saraf and Madhav Abhyankar. In this film, Maharashtra Bhushan awardee Ashok Saraf will be seen playing the role of a renowned doctor. To commemorate National Doctors’ Day, the character poster from Lifeline was unveiled at the ‘Doctors’ Day Celebration’ event in Mumbai. Many prominent doctors from across the country were present at this event, where Ashok Saraf interacted with them, leading to memorable fan moments. He praised the doctors for their hard work and highlighted their importance in everyone’s lives, also urging the audience to watch Lifeline.
Speaking about his role and National Doctors’ Day, Ashok Saraf said, “I consider it a privilege to celebrate this day with esteemed doctors. My upcoming film allowed me to experience this moment. My character from ‘Lifeline’ was unveiled on this special day, where I play a doctor. I have immense respect for this profession, and this film has only deepened that respect. Through this role, I have understood the hard work, empathy towards patients, and the various challenges and opposition doctors face. The film has shown me how difficult it is to convince those entangled in customs about the science behind every aspect.”
Presented by Crescendo Entertainment, Lifeline stars Ashok Saraf, Madhav Abhyankar, Hemangi Kavi, Bharat Dabolkar, Jaywant Wadkar, Sharmila Shinde, Sandhya Kute, and Sameera Gujar. Directed by Saahil Shirwaikar and produced by Lalji Joshi, Kavita Shirwaikar, Ami Bhuta, Milind Prabhudesai, Uday Pandit, Sanchita Shirwaikar, Sandhya Kulkarni, Shilpa Mudbidri, and Crescendo Entertainment. The film’s story, screenplay, dialogues, and lyrics are by Rajesh Shirvaikar, with music by Ashok Patki and songs sung by Avadhoot Gupte and Madhuri Karmarkar. The film, which has won 11 international awards, will be released on August 2.
