Shubhangi Atre took to social media to mourn the passing of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! writer Manoj Santoshi. He tragically passed away on March 23, 2025, due to liver-related complications, according to reports. The late writer had been battling liver cancer and was undergoing treatment. Sharing a few pictures with him, Shubhangi wrote, “Ek Mahaan aur jaadui lekhak hum sabko Alvida kehkar kisi aur duniya me chale gaye,,,iss dukh aur sadme ko kabhi nahi bhulaya jaa sakta. Lekin kehte hain naa ‘Zindagi lambi nahi, Badi honi chahiye,’ iss baat ko aap saarthak kar gaye Manojjii. Aap bahut yaad aayenge. Om Shanti.” (A great and magical writer has bid us all farewell and moved on to another world… This sorrow and shock can never be forgotten.
