Bhagyashree Limaye, who has been part of projects such as Sisterhood, Munjya and Satyameva Jayate 2, is all set to explore a relatable world of professional aspirations, workplace dynamics and personal emotions with Rusk Media and Alright TV’s upcoming web series Nine to Five. The actor plays Yashashvini in the series, which will be available on the Alright TV YouTube channel. Talking about the project, Bhagyashree believes its biggest strength lies in its familiarity, as the experiences it explores are ones that people from different walks of life can recognise.
“Everyone will relate to Nine to Five because we have all experienced some part of corporate life, whether it is office politics, an internship or simply trying to figure out what we want to do with our lives. Even students who are just beginning their journeys will understand the situations the show explores. It is not restricted to one age group or one particular phase of life. I feel it is actually for everyone,” she says.
The actor also draws attention to the emotional side of the series, explaining that the story goes beyond the everyday challenges associated with a professional environment. According to her, the experiences of the characters make the narrative engaging because they reflect the struggles, aspirations and uncertainties that people often encounter in real life.
“When you watch the trailer, you can see that there is an emotional side to the story as well. Every project involves a great deal of effort from the entire team, and it is never just about one person. Everyone contributes something, and that collective effort eventually comes alive on screen. I think the audience will be able to connect with the emotions and the situations that these characters go through,” Bhagyashree adds.
Having explored different formats through her previous projects, the actress is looking forward to presenting another relatable story to viewers. For her, the appeal of Nine to Five lies in its ability to bring together professional struggles and personal experiences without making the narrative feel distant from everyday life.
