Titeeksha Tawde, known for her role in Satvya Mulichi Satvvi Mulgi, is gearing up for her first Gudi Padwa celebration after her wedding. “Gudi Padwa is the most significant day in Marathi culture, and I am excited to celebrate it with great enthusiasm. This will be my special first Gudi Padwa after marriage. To celebrate Gudi Padwa, I will be visiting my in-laws as my they reside in Nashik. Siddharth and I will go there to hoist a beautiful Gudi, enjoy delicious food, and spend time with our extended family, as they are in Nashik while we reside in Mumbai.

Prasad Jawade, also known as Aditya from the Paru, will be celebrating his first Gudi Padwa with his wife, Amruta. “We are making efforts to celebrate Gudi Padwa with my wife, but if we don’t get leave, we will hoist the Gudi together via video call. However, preparations are underway as it is the first Gudi Padwa after our wedding. We recently shifted to Thane and have decorated our home with our favorite things. I really wish to gift Amruta a beautiful saree. The highlight for us will be cooking together on that day. I will cook Varan Bhat, Bhaji, and Poli. Amrita loves Varan Bhat with homemade ghee. We will then visit our special spot to watch the sunset together, a place where we have been dating since our early days.

In the show Shiva, Ashu, also known as Shalva Kinjawadekar, revealed that he and other artists from Zee Marathi will participate in the New Year’s welcome event in Dombivali and later celebrate Gudi Padwa on the set. Shooting will take place on Gudi Padwa, while all preparations are already underway on the set.

Meera Velankar, who plays Seeta in Shiva, said, “Gudi Padwa is a festival celebrated with family. I have a 12-year-old son, and I teach him the importance of our culture and traditions by celebrating festivals together. Gudi Padwa marks the beginning of our Marathi New Year. Just as we celebrate New Year’s Eve on December 31, we must welcome the Marathi New Year with our traditional rituals. Let’s understand the true meaning behind our traditions and celebrate festivals accordingly. This year, we have Amar’s favorite Puri Bhaji on our menu.”
