Chaturang Pratishthan, a cultural, educational, and social organization, was founded on Akshaya Tritiya in 1974 with the modest goal of initiating educational activities in schools in Konkan villages. Since then, the organization has undertaken 61 diverse initiatives and, on this year’s Akshaya Tritiya, completed 50 years of its journey. Expanding from Mumbai to centers like Dombivli, Pune, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, and Goa, Chaturang has hosted over 1,800 events across more than 240 locations throughout Maharashtra in its 50-year span. This achievement has been made possible by the unwavering support and cooperation of numerous renowned and talented artists and dignitaries from various fields.
To express their gratitude, Chaturang organized grand celebrations at its various centers, including Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Goa, Dombivli, and Pune. The culmination of the golden jubilee year will be a grand closing ceremony in Mumbai, centered around the presentation of the ‘Chaturang Suvarnaratna Awards.’
