Chefs Priyam Chatterjee and Rishabh Seal Take Over Le Cirque Signature at The Leela Palace Bengaluru

Le Cirque Signature at The Leela Palace Bengaluru will host an exclusive two-night culinary pop-up by Chef Priyam Chatterjee and Chef Rishabh Seal on 12th and 13th June 2026. Bringing together one of India’s most celebrated chefs and one of Bengaluru’s most iconic dining destinations, the experience promises an intimate exploration of memory, technique, and cultural exchange through food.

Born in Kolkata into a family of cooks, artists, musicians, and writers, Chef Priyam Chatterjee began cooking at 14 and developed a culinary style shaped by his Bengali heritage and global training. After studying at NIPS School of Hotel Management and training under Chef Jean-Claude Fugier at Park Hyatt Hyderabad, he worked across acclaimed kitchens in Paris, Spain, Oman, and Italy.

A leading voice in Indian fine dining, Chatterjee was Chef-Patron of Qla and most recently launched Roia Singapore, which was listed in the Michelin Guide 2024 within its first year. In 2019, he became the first Indian chef to receive France’s Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole and was appointed Ambassador of French Cuisine. A musician and visual artist, he brings the same creativity to his plates as he does to his art.

Joining him for both evenings is Chef Rishabh Seal, a fellow Kolkatan whose culinary journey spans some of the world’s most acclaimed kitchens. After building his foundations at the Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, he went on to work at Spain’s Michelin-starred Nerua and Aponiente, as well as Gaggan in Bangkok, bringing a global perspective rooted in technical excellence.

Created exclusively for these two evenings, the menu begins with three amuse-bouches - Nicoise Reimagined, Piaget, and St. Tropez Afternoon, offering contemporary interpretations of classic flavours and setting the tone for the evening.

The courses that follow trace Chef Priyam’s journey across continents. Highlights include La Prestige with caviar, cauliflower and yuzu; The Bengal Gourmet, a tribute to his childhood through sweet shrimp and mangrove crab; Make Me an Omelette, a refined reimagining of the Bombay omelette; and À la Sundarbans, where Cornish scampi meets black garlic and citrus. The savoury finale, Noir, features aged duck with date pesto and raspberry, before the meal concludes with Amalfi Summer and petit fours of mango chilli pâte de fruit and dark chocolate truffles. A vegetarian menu is available on request.

This collaboration is a meeting of stories, cultures, and culinary philosophies. For two nights only, Le Cirque Signature becomes the stage for a rare dialogue between Bengal and Bordeaux, memory and modernity, offering guests an opportunity to experience the work of one of India’s most celebrated chefs in an intimate and immersive setting.
