In 2024, Chhaya Kadam took on multiple roles that gained recognition on an international platform. Her film, All We Imagine As Light, has been nominated for Best Director (Motion Picture) at the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards. Notably, the film has also earned a second nomination for Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language. This marks the first time an Indian director has been nominated in this category.
Chhaya Kadam not only directed but also played the lead role in the film. All We Imagine As Light premiered on May 23, 2024, at the Cannes Film Festival and has since been released in theaters. Even before its theatrical release, the film received several awards and now holds the honor of being nominated for the prestigious Golden Globes.
A few days ago, the film also won the Best International Film award at the New York Film Critics Circle (NYFCC), and now it seems poised to win yet another accolade.

The film features Chhaya Kadam, Kannu Kusuruti, and Divya Prabha in lead roles. All We Imagine As Light is an official Indo-French co-production by France’s Petite Chaos and India’s Chalk and Cheese and Another Birth.
