The poster of the Marathi film Aranya was recently unveiled by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis. Written and directed by Amol Digambar Karambe, this film brings an impactful story that sheds light on social realities. Aranya is set to hit theatres on September 19.
The film is based on the backdrop of a father-daughter relationship from a common family and delves into the human aspects of a Naxalite’s life and his bond with his young daughter.
Produced by SS Studios and Expo Present, the film is produced by Sharad Patil and Anjali Patil. Hardik Joshi, famous for his role in the series Tujhyat Jeev Rangala, will play the lead role in the film. Alongside him, Hritika Patil, Veena Jagtap, Vijay Nikam, Suresh Vishwakarma, Amol Khapre, and Chetan Chavda will also be seen in important roles. The film features music inspired by tribal folk art, which will not only offer authenticity but also provide a cinematic experience to the audience.

At the event, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “Cinema has the power to tell stories of change. Aranya showcases the journey of people who chose education and peace over violence. I am confident this film will have a significant impact on the audience. I am especially fond of their ‘One Ticket, One Tree’ initiative.”
