After the phenomenal success of Deool Band in 2015, which created an extraordinary impact at the box office, audiences have finally received the sequel they had been eagerly waiting for. The official trailer of Deool Band 2, produced by Vatvruksha Entertainment and written and directed by Pravin Vitthal Tarde, has been released on social media, creating a wave of excitement among movie lovers.
The film is all set to release across Maharashtra on May 21, 2026 during the summer holidays. The trailer presents an intense mix of emotion, social reality, faith, and human struggle, promising a thought-provoking cinematic experience.
Unlike conventional devotional dramas, Deool Band 2 boldly addresses the burning issues faced by farmers in present-day society. The trailer highlights themes such as financial hardship, rural distress, and the alarming rise in farmer suicides. At the same time, it explores the ongoing conflict between scientific thinking and spirituality while questioning the existence of God and society’s collective responsibility.
The trailer opens with a gripping and emotionally charged sequence where even the divine presence of Swami Samarth is challenged by a devotee. Several impactful dialogues immediately connect with the audience. One dialogue says, “Don’t try to measure the depth of a woman’s heart… especially when it carries a farmer’s pain.” Another hard-hitting line states, “Everything in this country is original — except the farmer, who is treated like a duplicate!”
However, the most powerful moment in the trailer comes with a dialogue that forms the emotional core of the film: “In our taluka, where at least one farmer dies by suicide every day, there should not be a single suicide in the next eight days… and if even one happens, I will shut down my temple forever!”
This bold statement directly challenges God’s grace and existence, making the film socially relevant as well as emotionally compelling.
The film features veteran actor Mohan Joshi reprising his divine role as Swami Samarth. He is joined by Snehal Tarde, while Pravin Vitthal Tarde himself appears in the role of Sadusheth, described as a “hundred-faced Ravana.” The film has been produced by Kailas Vani, Jayshree Vani, Kaivalya Vani, and Juilee Vani-Suryavanshi.
The trailer’s realistic depiction of rural Maharashtra, combined with its emotionally stirring background score, has already caught the attention of viewers online. With its unique blend of devotion to Swami Samarth and strong social commentary, Deool Band 2 is expected to offer audiences both entertainment and meaningful reflection.
