DEVI Sansthan proudly announces the third edition of its flagship event, Leadership Circle 3, a national-level forum convening leading voices and changemakers in India’s literacy movement. The event will be held on 6th and 7th May at the WUCC Auditorium, City Montessori School, LDA Branch, Lucknow. The event will be inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. R Balasubramaniam, Member – HR and Capacity building commission, and other eminent guests present will be by Puneet Bali, Director, Smile Foundation, Arun Arora, Executive Director, Chetak Foundation, Gauri Bhure-Roy CSR Head, DXC Technology Yogesh Kumar, Head, HCL Foundation, and more. Building on the momentum of previous successful editions, Leadership Circle 3 has grown from a state-level platform into a nationwide convergence of education reformers, bringing together mid-level government leaders from 10 states and Union Territories who are championing foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) through rapid results initiatives aligned with the NIPUN Bharat Mission.
The 2 day event Panel Discussion on topics like FLN – The World’s Best Investment, Policies to accelerate learning, Quality Education & Grassroot NGOs, Overcoming Challenges to FLN for All and more will take place. The Leadership Circle 3 will see more participation and involvement of State Governments with officials from Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Telangana, Maharashtra, Manipur, Jharkhand, Sikkim, and Andhra Pradesh joining the summit thus demonstrating a strong nationwide commitment to literacy reform.
The Accelerating Learning for All (ALfA) is an interactive pedagogy developed to work with children from across the country. This fast-track, holistic methodology has been developed through extensive research and years of practical experience. The program has been implemented in Uttar Pradesh, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, Jharkhand. States like Maharashtra, Haryana, Punjab, have also started ALfA programs in select areas and MoU’s with more states are in the pipeline. Since its introduction in 2022-23, the ALFA Programme has scaled from 20 schools to over 17,000 government schools across India and has been adapted into 33 national and international languages, setting the stage for global expansion.

With the continued MoU’s with various state governments, DEVI SAnsthan is reaching out to the far flung places in the country in a spirited attempt to ensure that the NIPUN Goals by 2027 is achieved.”
This edition is the empowerment of mid-level government functionaries, including Block Education Officers (BEOs), DIET Principals, and Block Resource Coordinators, who will be trained in ALfA (Accelerating Learning for All), a proven, evidence-based pedagogy that ensures foundational learning outcomes. Special attention is being given to institutional anchoring across 50 blocks in Uttar Pradesh, where targeted capacity building will help embed reforms deeply within the education system for long-term sustainability and replicability. Additionally, the event is designed with an outcome-oriented agenda that prioritizes practical, scalable solutions, peer learning, and shared accountability—ensuring real progress beyond just discussion.
The Leadership Circle reflects DEVI Sansthan’s unwavering commitment to empowering educators and transforming education through innovation and collaborations with Government bodies. Experts from across sectors will share new research, real-world experiences, and proven strategies to drive rapid learning outcomes. By fostering the exchange of best practices and evidence-based tools, the event aims to catalyze change at scale—with a goal to impact over 500,000 students across India in the next five years.
