Dipshikkha Nagppal: I want to work with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan once again

Dipshikkha Nagppal, who was recently seen on TV in projects Na Umra Ki Seema Ho and Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein 2 and is currently seen in Megha Barsenge, turned a year older on August 20. She loves big celebrations and birthday parties, and she always celebrates her birthday lavishly. She takes it as an occasion to celebrate her life with the people that matter to her.

She said, “While I don’t have any specific rituals, the night before my birthday is special because my close friends always visit me without asking. We sit, chat, and enjoy each other’s company. My children are also with me, and this is one of the moments I look forward to and cherish the most.”

“This year, I have planned a big party. I make friends and connect with people through the shows or movies I work on, and I like to stay in touch with them. Since everyone is so busy, my birthday is the perfect occasion to invite them over so we can celebrate together. I cherish the opportunity to celebrate my life with all the people who matter to me and who have touched my life in some way. I invite everyone, including the media, and I’m grateful to see so many of them attend,” she added.

Though she loves a working birthday, she prefers to have half a day off for her celebration. She said, “God has been kind, and things always seem to work out. Yesterday, I was shooting, and the schedule was supposed to go late, so I asked my director if I could leave by 10 PM since I was shooting in Bhandup. I reached home around a quarter to midnight, and all my friends were waiting for me.”

“I love shooting on my birthday, but only for half a day, not the entire day. I also make time to visit the temple, pray, and spend some time alone. My birthday week is filled with gifts, wishes, and flowers, which makes me feel very special. It’s important to always keep the child in you alive,” she added.

Dipshikkha, a single mother, has given a good upbringing to her kids and is proud of herself. She said, “My son is studying abroad, and as a single mother, I’m proud that I could make his dream come true with my work and the blessings of my parents and the Almighty. My daughter is also doing well in her modeling career.”

“I have many small achievements that I’m thankful for, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made in my life. I’m better than I was last year, and I love my life and myself. Two years ago, I had a Bollywood-themed birthday celebration and invited all my industry friends. Another year, I visited the Sadhguru Ashram and spent time with the pilgrims and in the temple,” she added.

What’s your wish for yourself this year? “This year, my birthday resolution is to look good, feel fit, and regain the shape I had before. I also want to share the screen once again with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. Emotionally, I’m learning to detach because getting too attached to people can hurt. I’m slowly learning to focus on myself and do the things I love. Recently, my friend advised me to change the spelling of my name to Dipshikkha Nagppal, as she said it would bring a lot of good luck, and I’m happy about it. I want to prioritize myself now. My greatest wish is for my children to be successful in their careers and to always be healthy, wealthy, and wise. I also hope to meet my soulmate, and I truly wish that this comes true. Thank you to all my fans for your support; I love you all,” she added.
