Dolly Chawla: I'm receiving numerous calls about the show

Dolly Chawla is seen as Saba Mirza in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas on Atrangii, produced by Chitra Vakil Sharma. She is quite happy with the response she is getting and said, “I’m receiving numerous calls about this show. Everyone is saying that we look great.”

“The show resembles a Pakistani drama, which people enjoy watching. We’ve adapted their way of speaking, and audiences are loving it. We have worked really hard on it,” she added.

She was all praise for Chitra and called her a darling. She said, “She’s naughty, mischievous, and fun, always sweet and caring. Our time on set flew by smoothly because of the fantastic team. It felt like a family, and during the two and a half months we shot in Goregaon, it never felt like we were in Bombay. It always felt like we were shooting out of town.”

Dolly also believes that the environment on the set impacts an actor’s performance. SJ said, “Having worked for so many years, I believe the environment on set is crucial. If the environment is good, the results will be good too.”

“As I mentioned earlier, our set felt like a family, especially with the four of us—me, Sana, Sahil, and Anirudh—since most of our scenes were together. Sometimes you don’t vibe with your co-actor, which can affect your performance. But trust me, Sana gave me a sisterly vibe on set; Sahil and Anirudh are like buddies, and although we might be fighting on screen, off-screen we love each other. We’re still connected and meet up regularly, and the team is just like a family.”
