Dushyant Vora on the Grand Wedding Sequence in Jamai No. 1

Actor Dushyant Vora, who has been winning hearts with his portrayal of Gangadhar Paranjape in the popular show Jamai No. 1 produced by Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Studio LSD, recently opened up about the much-anticipated on-screen wedding sequence that has fans buzzing with excitement. Known for his versatile acting and nuanced performances, Dushyant shared insights into the vibrant and dramatic world of the upcoming episodes.

When asked about how the wedding preparation is shaping up, Dushyant shared, “On-screen wedding preparations are always more time-taking, but they’re so much fun! There’s drama and entertainment just like in real weddings. It’s something viewers will really enjoy.”

A wedding sequence without drama? Impossible, according to Dushyant. “Of course, if there is no drama, there is no marriage! In real weddings, it’s usually the fufa who creates all the drama,” he laughed. “Here, a situation arises where the drama actually explodes. It’s a big, big drama!”

Speaking about the grandeur and vibrancy of the shoot, Dushyant praised the production. “The grandeur is splendid. The sequence we’ve shot for this wedding is thrilling and packed with high-voltage drama. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind affair that’s been shot very slickly and at a great pace. Audiences will enjoy and relate to it.”

Wedding sequences are known for their complexity, and Jamai No. 1 is no exception. “The wedding is elaborate, with so many characters involved in different dramas at various locations in the wedding area. That’s definitely the hardest part to manage,” Dushyant revealed. “Our director has done a fantastic job holding it all together. It’s worth watching.”

Elaborate costumes and beautifully designed sets are a hallmark of Indian wedding sequences on TV. For Dushyant, these elements are key to enhancing his performance. “The costumes and sets definitely help. As Gangadhar Paranjape, my character is dressed in a simple kurta dhoti, but it fits him perfectly and adds to the authenticity.”

Dushyant has high expectations for how fans will react to this major plotline. “I think they’ll be spellbound and glued to their screens at 10.30pm on Zee TV. This sequence offers a perfect blend of glamour and volcanic drama that hasn’t been shown before. I’m confident viewers will love this twist in Jamai No. 1.”
