Eijaz Khan, who has made a successful transition from television to cinema and OTT platforms, looks back at 2024 as a year of new beginnings, challenges, and personal growth. “This year started on a high note as I moved into my new house, which was a big milestone for me,” Eijaz shares. Soon after, he began shooting for Adrishyam, a project he describes as a “beautiful experience” where he bonded well with producer Sachin and director Anshuman, along with the entire cast. Unfortunately, the journey was shorter than expected, but Eijaz didn’t let that deter him.
The next chapter in 2024 saw him diving into intense preparation for 120 Bahadur. The film took him to Ladakh, where he shot for most of the year’s second half. “Shooting in Ladakh was transformative,” he says. “It wasn’t just about work; it was about finding myself amidst the serenity of the mountains.”
Adding to the excitement, Eijaz’s film Zapd, shot years earlier, finally premiered on the OTT platform Waves, in collaboration with Prasar Bharati. Currently, he is wrapping up the year with another intriguing project, Striking Distance. On a personal note, Eijaz began meditating and journaling in 2024. “Though I’m not as consistent as I’d like to be, these practices have taught me to focus on the journey within,” he reflects. His gratitude journal, in particular, has become a cornerstone of his daily routine. “2024 wasn’t without its challenges,” he admits. Health issues tested him during the Ladakh shoot, but they also taught him valuable lessons. “Not every day will be perfect, and that’s okay. You don’t have to hit it out of the park every single time.” For Eijaz, happiness this year meant being able to live life fully without letting physical or mental health challenges hold him back. “It’s about freedom—whether it’s spending time with family or simply doing nothing.”
