Actor Ekta Tiwari, currently portraying the character of Flower in Gudiya Rani on Dangal TV, has recently penned a book titled Shabdon Mein Anekta Ekta Sang. She shares that writing has always been her way of expressing herself.
“Life is the true inspiration for everything because life is beautiful, and the emotions around me inspire me to put them into words, which I’ve been doing since childhood. I organize a monthly event called Shabdon Mein Anekta Ekta Sang, where not only writers but anyone who writes a poem or short story can recite their work. The best entries are compiled into a book. My message to everyone is simple: never hold back your emotions. Express them in the best way you can. For me, writing is that way,” she says.
Speaking about the book, she adds, “My poems don’t just reflect my personal experiences; I mostly write about what I observe and feel in my surroundings. I use simple and easy language so that readers and listeners can easily understand. Shabdon Mein Anekta Ekta Sang is not just a book but a journey from my school days until now. When you read it, you’ll relate to it. My background in drama and my life as a traveler bring diverse languages and experiences to my art.”
When asked which poem holds the most significance for her, she replies, “Maya Nagri Ki Chal is a must-read if you wish to come to Mumbai or any metro city with dreams of fun and success. It will serve as a guide or map to help you navigate this journey. Another one, Waqt Mila Toh, will teach you about self-love and the power you possess—something you just need to prioritize and act upon. Every poem in the collection will take you somewhere deep within, where your heart truly belongs.”
