In a spectacular showdown at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, the Haryanvi Hunters clinched the inaugural Entertainers Cricket League (ECL) T10 title with a commanding 8-wicket victory over the Lucknow Lions, crowning themselves champions of the tournament. Lucknow Lions’ captain, Anurag Dwivedi, won the toss and elected to bat first. However, his side faced immediate setbacks. Anurag himself fell early, managing just 8 runs off 6 balls. Rohit Lamba, the Hunters’ pace sensation, delivered a lethal second over, claiming three quick wickets and reducing the Lions to 28/4 within two overs. Even Orange Cap holder Akash Yadav, who had been prolific throughout the tournament, was dismissed cheaply for just 6 runs.
Lucknow Lions found some stability with a fiery 65-run partnership between Aman Deep Singh (46 off 17) and Ashish Kumar Meena (35 off 17), but the lower-order faltered.
