In the realm of Marathi entertainment, Sharad Ponkshe stands tall as a seasoned veteran, having showcased his stellar acting prowess across various mediums such as stage, films, and television. However, there’s a new chapter unfolding as Sharad Ponkshe prepares to step into a different role – that of a producer, with his son, Sneh Ponkshe, making his directorial debut with an upcoming film.
Tentatively titled Production No. 1, this film, a collaboration between VS Productions and Moraya Productions, marks a significant milestone in the Ponkshe family’s journey. While Rohini Vijay Singh Patwardhan leads the production, Sharad Ponkshe is the co-producer. Penned by Sneh, the film promises to bring forth a unique narrative.
Speaking about this new venture, Sharad Ponkshe shares, “It’s a fresh start for us, venturing into uncharted territory. Sneh has crafted a distinctive narrative, and I am proud to support him as a co-producer. I believe this responsibility is well-placed in his capable hands.”
