A new-era in Indian hip-hop is set to take center stage as Ferozi, a bold six-member collective is set to dominate with the release of its debut track Farida Drip. Headed by Lambardar MC Square, along with MNDP, Gurjar HB, Mark Bhatia, SkyMeriJaan, and producer ZeroToOne, the group redefines Desi hip hop, carving out a unique space that combines street culture, storytelling, and unfiltered grit. Hailing from the streets of Faridabad, Haryana, these six fierce voices, bound by brotherhood, and driven by the hunger to make Desi hip-hop scream louder than ever before, symbolise a new wave of music that blends raw storytelling with street culture.
Alongside their official announcement, Ferozi’s debut single ‘Farida Drip’ from their upcoming album Ferozi: The Arrival is a powerful introduction, packed with energy and attitude, signaling their ferocious entry into the Indian music scene. The track opens with an intense, ominous chord, quickly transitioning into thunderous beats produced by ZeroToOne. Each member brings their distinct style, delivering electrifying vocals that demand attention. Farida Drip, with its swagger, confidence, and authenticity, boldly declares the collective’s intent to disrupt and change the hip-hop game.
Speaking on the formation of Ferozi and their debut single, MC Square shared, “Being a Ferozi is like being part of a family united by a single vision - brotherhood. The six of us have come together to tell our stories in the rawest form.
