The Peshwa court had many skilled individuals, one of them being Venkat Narasimha Shastri, a master of all scriptures, often referred to as the ‘Brihaspati’ of the royal court. He held a significant position in the Peshwa’s court. The novel Phulwanti, penned by Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare, will be presented as a movie, scheduled for release on October 11. In this film, actor Gashmeer Mahajani will portray the powerful character of Venkat Shastri, alongside versatile actor Prajakta Mali in the central role of Phulwanti.

Known for his work in Marathi cinema, Hindi serials, and reality shows, Gashmeer is equally excited about his role in Phulwanti, which revolves around the famous dancer of the Peshwa era and the brilliant Venkat Shastri.
This remarkable creation by Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare will soon appear on the big screen. Produced by Panorama Studios and Mangesh Pawar & Company, this grand cinematic venture is directed by Snehal Pravin Tarde, with dialogues by Pravin Vitthal Tarde and cinematography by Mahesh Limaye. The film is slated to release on October 11, with producers Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Mangesh Pawar, Shweta Mali, and Prajakta Mali at the helm.
