Entrepreneur, explorer and content creator Gaurav Saxena is all set to try his hand at acting now. He says that while he is not taking it up as a full-time job, he wishes to learn more about the craft through this journey. “I’m not getting into acting as a full-time job. I’m just learning new things, as I’m a keen learner—and the creative industry definitely seems like a lot of fun, and a lot of work too. As of now, I’m working on a lot of projects. From exploring new countries on my channel Beyond 9 to 5, to venturing into creating more creative content—there’s a lot on the horizon,” he says.
Gaurav also makes travel vlogs on YouTube as well as other content. “I’m very excited about my future ventures in the entertainment industry. I have some fabulous film scripts that I’m about to finalise, and I’ll soon start moving ahead with them. I’m neither an orator nor an actor, but I believe my honesty touches the audience. I receive so much love, and I feel truly blessed. What makes it even more special is that many of my followers are women—and their support reassures me that I’m on the right path,” he says.
Ask him how challenging it is to travel and vlog at the same time, and he says, “My work is always a priority, and I know I’m doing great in my career back in Uganda. Here in India, all these new ventures are looking amazing and very promising too. I believe that no matter where I am in the world, people connect with me—regardless of their caste or nationality.” As for a balance between his personal and professional life, he says, “My personal life now is about healing and creating happiness for the future. Nothing will hamper that from now on. I believe in enjoying life, no matter where I settle. I truly love my work, and thankfully, I’m in a very peaceful and happy phase of life right now. Touch wood.”
