Geetanjali Mishra, who plays Rajesh in Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, says she has never celebrated Raksha Bandhan on the set of her shows, and feels that the special or festive sequences put a lot of pressure on the production house.
She said, “I have never celebrated Raksha Bandhan on the set. Nowadays, every show celebrates each and every festival, not only festivals but also Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Brother’s Day, etc.”
“Honestly speaking, I don’t enjoy it much because during the shooting, the celebration is a task for the production, the directors, and, actors. There is a pressure of looking different, making different, and presenting different, so I don’t enjoy that,” she added.
Generally, she shoots half a day on Raksha Bandhan and takes the rest of the day off, but this time she has a holiday on the festival.
Sharing her plans, she said, “It’s a pressure as unfortunately we have to shoot, so most of the time I ask for a half day for myself, and it is mutually agreed. This time my cousin is coming from Delhi, and luckily we have a holiday on Raksha Bandhan.”
