Mumbai witnessed the curtain raiser on WWW-World Without Water a film produced by Great India Film Television (GIFT) and Amar - Prem film produced by Jannat Movies for the cast, crew, and film personalities.
Producer and director Manoj Pandya of Great India Film Television hosted a special screening of his film WWW at IIMPA preview theatre Andheri, Mumbai.
Both the films received great applause for its unique presentations and thought provoking subject on Save Water or Face the Consequences. The lead actors of WWW Hemant Pandey and Rajendra Shishtkar have seen putting all their efforts in bringing justice to the subject.
The film was inspired by the frightening scenario concerning water and emphasizes the most significant issue of the forthcoming water calamity all over the world. It’s also been said that the next world war will be fought over water. Climate change is being caused by global warming, which has an influence on ecology and the environment. Groundwater levels are dropping, and there is a water shortage.
To start with, the film will be screened at the Bharat Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival 2024 in France.The official trailer for the film will be released on May 21 in Cannes at the Bharat Pavilion on Bharat Day to be celebrated. The movie is planned to be screened at over 150 film festivals across the world all along the year 2024.
The actor Rajendra Shisatkar said, “I’ve always been interested in taking on a new and challenging role. When I heard the screenplay for WWW, I was immediately intrigued. The film’s subject, makes us think about a potential water catastrophe.As an actor, it is my societal obligation to not only entertain the audience with my performances in commercial films, but also to make society aware of the oncoming difficulties.I had to say yes since the plot of the film is so relevant.”
Similarly, Hemant Pandey, who rose to fame as Pandeji in the blockbuster television drama Office Office, has acted in a number of films and serials commented, “Like everyone else involved with this film, I found the subject to be very meaningful and thought provoking. The next generation must understand the value of water and the long-term consequences of a water crisis.”
The film’s producer and director Manoj Pandya said, “I’ve always wanted to capture people’s attention through my films on serious issues, and the future water crisis requires serious consideration.” WWW is a little attempt by my team at GIFT to convey the message of water conservation for a brighter future, with the help of brilliant artists such as Rajendra Shisatkar and Hemant Pandey’s performances.”
Speaking positively about the film, Creative director and writer Ashish Deo said the subject for saving water was at his heart and always wanted to take this at a large scale through a proper channel for mass appeal.
Speaking on the marketing drive of this film for a better reach under ‘Catch them Young’ Deepak Khanolkar the project adviser established a need to reach every single child across the state and country.We have planned to screen this film at every prominent school across the Nation so we can imbibe the importance of saving water in them since childhood.
