In the upcoming Netflix web series Taskaree Akshaya will be seen alongside several prominent Bollywood stars. Recently, the teaser of Taskaree was released, and she is seen sharing a scene with Emraan Hashmi. It wouldn’t be wrong to call this a jackpot for Akshaya—her very first web series and that too working with an actor like Emraan Hashmi.
Speaking about her experience on Taskaree Akshaya says, “Working with a big Bollywood star like Emraan Hashmi sir was a very special feeling. We had just two or three scenes together, but even while shooting them, I felt a little nervous—and that felt nice too. Getting the opportunity to work alongside Emraan Hashmi sir as a co-actor in my very first web series truly feels like a golden chance for me. Actually Neeraj sir directed me for only three days; on the remaining days, it was Raghav sir. But Neeraj sir was so calm and to the point that there was no scope for anything to go wrong. His instructions were very clear, he explained everything patiently, and above all, he takes great care of his team and his artists. Working under a filmmaker of Neeraj Pandey’s calibre was an experience in itself his clarity of vision and quiet confidence make you feel completely secure as an actor."
