Harleen Reikhi was saddened to hear about the sudden off-air decision of her show Binddii. The show wrapped up earlier than expected and the actor revealed that they were expecting to shoot for another month. She said, “It came as a surprise. I wasn’t even aware earlier that it would happen so soon. We were expecting at least another month of shooting, but the show wrapped up soon. It was unexpected and a bit shocking for all of us, and it did take time to process and understand how things work.”
However, she mentioned that she had a good time shooting for the show. She said, “It was also a really good phase, we shared some beautiful moments on set and enjoyed the journey a lot. Ultimately, I believe that whatever happens, happens for a reason, and I trust the universe’s decision.” Harleen believed that every phase teaches us something. She said, “The key is to stay positive, trust the process, and keep evolving as an actor. I’m excited about what’s next and hopeful that the right opportunities will come at the right time.”
She agrees that television is very unpredictable and adds, “So are the opportunities that come with it.” She explained that sometimes projects get delayed, and sometimes things end suddenly. She said, “Some shows run for years, while others last only a few months—or even a month. This is the reality of television, and if you’re doing a TV show, you have to be mentally prepared for this uncertainty. That’s just how the industry works.“For now, Harleen is looking forward to exploring web series and films and roles that she hasn’t performed before. She said, “I would love to try a spy thriller or an action-based role. I’m also keen on OTT films or series with strong, subtle characters—roles that are more natural and understated, where the performance relies on expressions, eye movement, and nuanced dialogue delivery rather than loud dramatics.”
