After delivering powerful performances in films and television, her desire to return to the stage was clearly evident. However, she also expressed a slight disappointment about not getting the right opportunity.
At the same time, actor Sunil Barve also expressed his wish to work with the new generation. While all this was happening, actors and producers Priya Bapat and Umesh Kamat arranged a special meeting with Harshada Khanvilkar and Sunil Barve and handed them the script of their play. Following this meeting, a big announcement was made.
The play is titled Aamchya Pidhichi Goshtach Vegli! and is directed by Advait Dadarkar. It will soon be staged in theatres.
The play is presented by Priya Bapat and produced by Sonal Productions. Direction is handled by Adwait Dadarkar. Along with Harshada Khanvilkar and Sunil Barve, the cast also includes Akshar Kothari, Sharmila Shinde, Shantanu Thavle, and Vaishali Ambavane in key roles. The play is written by Amol Patil and produced by Nandu Kadam.
