The film Sholay remains immensely popular in the history of Hindi cinema. The movie Hazarvela Sholay Pahilela Manus already in the news because of its intriguing title, was recently screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2024. On this occasion, film producers Shehzaad Sippy and Sagoon Wagh were honored, along with Pune International Film Festival Director Dr Jabbar Patel, producer Shridevi Shetty Wagh, and Jeet Wagh. The felicitation was conducted by Swati Mhase, I.A.S., MD of Maharashtra Film Stage and Cultural Development Corporation Limited. The film received an overwhelming response from the audience.
Hazarvela Sholay Pahilela Manus is produced by Rajesh Dempo, Bhakti Dempo, Sagoon Wagh, and Shridevi Shetty Wagh. The co-producers of the film are Sholay Media and Entertainment and Kuberans Tech Ventures, with Jeet Wagh as the associate producer. The film is written and directed by Hrishikesh Gupte. It boasts a stellar cast including actors Dilip Prabhavalkar, Siddharth Jadhav, Sonali Kulkarni, Prajakta Datar, Milind Shinde, and Kishore Kadam, along with child artist Shrirang Mahajan. Additionally, actors Anand Ingale and Sameer Dharmadhikari will make special appearances.
