Healer Pooja Seth Shares the Spiritual Essence of Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi, the festival that marks the arrival of Lord Ganesha, is not just about rituals and grandeur—it’s about inviting positivity, prosperity, and joy into our lives. Renowned healer Pooja Seth, who specializes in crystal therapy, chakra balancing, pranic healing, sound healing, believes that celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with devotion and awareness brings deep spiritual transformation.

Speaking about the significance of the festival, Pooja says, “Ganesh Chaturthi brings a lot of changes in people’s life. When you welcome Bappa, you welcome happiness, purity, and auspiciousness into your home.”

According to her, certain practices enhance the divine energy during the festival:

Keep the home pure: Footwear must not be placed inside the house where Bappa is welcomed.

Prepare Satvik food: Meals must be made without onion and garlic to maintain purity.

Offer Durva: Either a Durva mala (sacred grass garland) should be offered, or 21 bundles of Durva tied with red dhaga (thread) must be dedicated to Lord Ganesha.

Serve Modaks: 21 modaks, Lord Ganesha’s favorite sweet, should be offered as prasad.

Chant and perform Ganesh Path: Reciting prayers dedicated to Ganesha strengthens spiritual vibrations.

Avoid certain colors: Black and blue clothes should be avoided during the celebrations.

Perform Aarti thrice daily: Morning, afternoon, and evening aartis keep the energy flowing, and Lord Ganesha must not be left alone.

Celebrate together: Invite friends, family, and neighbors to join in, as togetherness multiplies the blessings.

For Pooja Seth, the festival is deeply personal. “Ganesh Chaturthi holds a great significance for me and any family and I love visiting pandals—it has a different charm altogether. Festivals change the vibes, and today Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated everywhere, not just in Mumbai. I feel the coming generations are becoming involved in celebrating such festivals. I just feel togetherness must be maintained during these times. As per wishes from him, Bappa knows what to give to whom, and I know he will do good to everyone,” she shares.

Pooja Seth emphasizes that Ganesh Chaturthi is not just about rituals—it’s about creating an atmosphere of joy, devotion, and community. This year, she encourages everyone to celebrate with simplicity, faith, and collective positivity, ensuring that Bappa’s presence brings peace and prosperity to all.
