Actor Hirav Mehta is currently drawing attention for his role in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. In the film, he plays a BUF rebel, while his appearance in the viral Flipperachi dance track from the first installment had already brought him into the limelight. Recently, Hirav revisited the experience of filming that popular sequence, sharing insights about the distinct presence of Akshaye Khanna and the infectious energy brought in by Ranveer Singh.
Speaking about working alongside Akshaye Khanna, Hirav described it as a memorable experience. He noted that the actor has a striking aura on set—someone who warmly acknowledges everyone before seamlessly slipping into character. Hirav emphasized that Akshaye’s composed focus and his ability to instantly transform into the role left a strong impression on the entire team.
Talking about the much-talked-about Flipperachi sequence, Hirav revealed that its magic came naturally rather than being meticulously planned. He shared that while the dancers were already performing inside the tent, Ranveer Singh kept the energy high, encouraging everyone to give their best. When it was Akshaye Khanna’s moment, his moves were completely spontaneous. Hirav explained that Akshaye was fully immersed in the vibe, enjoying the music and blending effortlessly with the dancers. This authenticity carried through, as the rest of the cast instinctively synced with the rhythm while entering the frame.
Reflecting on the overwhelming response, Hirav admitted that none of them anticipated the scene would become such a massive talking point. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for being part of both the sequence and the film, adding that watching audiences revisit and enjoy the moment has been incredibly rewarding.
