The 13th edition of Rajnigandha presents Jagran Film Festival 2025, recognised as the world’s largest travelling film festival, continues to bring together artists, audiences, and conversations that celebrate the evolving spirit of Indian cinema.
On Day 3 in Delhi, Inayat Verma, recently seen in Param Sundari and known for her work in Ludo and Tu Jhooti Mein Makkaar, took part in the session “Between Classrooms and Cameras” where she opened up about how people often assume she carries an attitude because she is part of the film industry.
Reflecting on her school experiences, she said, “In school, my juniors are so sweet they even ask me for autographs. Some people my age, though, assumed I would have an attitude just because I do films. But once they speak to me, they realize that I am not rude at all. That’s when I tell them to not judge me before knowing me. I’ve realized that when you’re trying to do something good, people will sometimes find faults, and I’ve learned to take that positively.”
The session stood out as one of the most anticipated highlights of this year’s festival — a morning where art, ideas, and dialogue came together to celebrate the evolving landscape of storytelling.
