After the grand success of Baipan Bhari Deva and Jhimma 2, Jio Studios, in association with producer Jyoti Deshpande, is set to release a new film titled Ek Don Teen Char on July 19. Directed by Varun Narvekar, this film promises to be a delightful and heartwarming story.
Ek Don Teen Char aims to provide pure entertainment, offering a feast of light-hearted comedy. It explores the journey of love, marriage, and the ensuing experiences in the lives of the younger generation. The film’s strong point is its stellar cast, which includes Vaidehi Parashurami, Nipun Dharmadhikari, Mrinal Kulkarni, Hrishikesh Joshi, Satish Alekar, and Shaila Ghanekar. This film marks the first on-screen pairing of Nipun and Vaidehi. Additionally, social media influencer and star Karan Sonawane, known as ‘Focus Indian,’ makes his debut in Marathi cinema with this film.
A notable aspect of this project is that Varun Narvekar, following his critically acclaimed film Muramba, brings his versatile directorial skills to Ek Don Teen Char, promising a unique and entertaining film.
Varun Narvekar says about the film, “Newlyweds Sameer (Nipun) and Sayali (Vaidehi) receive a big surprise from life, which initially brings them immense joy. However, they soon begin to feel the tension that comes with it. What exactly this surprise is will soon be revealed to the audience through the film’s promotion. This unique twist in the life of a married couple will surely captivate everyone.”
The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Nipun Dharmadhikari and Varun Narvekar. The film is produced by Jio Studios in collaboration with Ranjit Gugle, Keyur Godse, Nipun Dharmadhikari, and Neeraj Biniwale from Bahawa Entertainment and 16 By 64.
