John Abraham – Garnier India’s Brand Ambassador was spotted ditching the spotlight for sand and sustainability! The Bollywood star joined hundreds of student volunteers on Chennai’s shores, rolling up his sleeves for a beach clean-up drive led by Garnier in collaboration with the Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban on the weekend.
The campaign, part of Garnier’s Green Beauty initiative, kicked off across 8 Indian coastal cities including Mumbai, Goa, Vizag, Pondicherry, and more—aiming to raise awareness and action around plastic waste with a powerful message: Take One Green Step. The event, with music, student energy, beach selfies, and John in action-mode, it was a visual spectacle with a purpose.
“I’m honored to support Garnier’s commitment to Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban and work towards the vision of building clean, green and litter free cities,” said John Abraham, Garnier India’s long-term Brand Ambassador. “Through individual and collective day to day action such as segregating our waste, recycling and reusing items, we can build a cleaner India. I’m excited to contribute to this important initiative. Together, let’s take one green step every day towards building a cleaner India."
Over the past few years, Garnier has been working with Plastics for Change, collecting and recycling plastic waste, and impacting over 15,000 lives in the waste management ecosystem. This year, Garnier aims to collect 1,000 tonnes of plastic through its kiosks and RRR centers, and they’re inviting consumers and fans to do their part.
