KOKO, an Asian luxury restaurant and bar renowned for its innovative Cantonese and Japanese cuisine is launching its highly anticipated Sakura Brunch on June 16, every Sunday. Nestled between the Leela Palace Bengaluru and Prestige Leela Residences at Old Airport Road, KOKO continues to distinguish itself as more than just a dining destination; an immersive blend of luxury, sophistication, and culinary excellence.
The Sakura Brunch is designed to transport diners with an array of flavours that awaken the senses. Guests can enjoy a selection of signature soups such as Creamy Sweet Corn Soup & Laksa Soup followed by refreshing salads such as Som Tum, and Smoked Chicken Salad. Indulge in a wide range of dim sum, crafted to perfection by the culinary maestro, Chef Eric Sifu. Options include the Truffle Sweet Corn Dumpling, Chicken Peppercorn Dumpling, Crystal Jade Dumpling, and Imperial John Dory Dumpling, all served hot from a moving dim sum trolley.
Commenting on the launch, Ryan Tham and Keenan Tham, the Founders of Pebble Street Hospitality, said, “KOKO in Cantonese means ‘grand’ or ‘grandiose,’ and our vision with the Sakura Brunch is to bring a luxurious Asian dining experience to Bengaluru that transcends the traditional brunch affair. We take pride in curating an unparalleled culinary journey, where exceptional food, artisanal cocktails, and an enchanting ambience converge seamlessly within Bengaluru’s vibrant culinary landscape.”
Complementing the dim sum trolley experience is a noodle and wonton bar section featuring freshly prepared Hong Yu Wontons and Shanghai Hong Yu La Mian. The sushi bar offers an extensive range of maki rolls, including the KOKO Signature Roll, Salmon Harasu Roll, and Hamachi Carpaccio, alongside vegetarian delights like the Chipotle Cottage Cheese Roll and Kappa Avocado Roll. Part of the Sakura Brunch is KOKO’s equally impressive beverage program, with a drinks menu curated to enhance the indulgent food offerings.
To end the brunch on a sweet note, diners can indulge in decadent desserts such as Honey I Fried the Noodles, a bed of golden, crispy fried noodles topped with honey and sesame or the indulgent Nutty Caramel Pecan Chocolate Cake.
