Krishna Shroff has officially secured her spot as a finalist on the stunt-based reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’. In her journey so far, Krishna has impressed everyone with her determination and resilience on the show, which marked her television reality show debut. In last weekend’s episode, she almost missed on winning the ‘Ticket to Finale’, but she bounced back stronger, with her eyes set firmly on the finale. Overcoming her fears, which was her main goal from the start, Krishna has secured a place in the TOP 5, representing girl power as she is the only girl to have made it as a finalist this season.
In Saturday’s episode, Krishna Shroff was teamed up with Abhishek Kumar for a partner stunt against two other strong Khiladis. The challenge involved jumping across five floats attached to a speeding boat to exchange and attach flags. At the very beginning of the stunt, Abhishek slipped and fell into the water, leaving Krishna to do an extremely physically challenging stunt solo. This stunt showcased her “never give up” attitude, which garnered in much applause from her co-contestants as well as audiences. Despite the setback, she collected two flags before falling herself, while the other pair won with four flags. Despite losing the challenge, Rohit Shetty applauded her effort and even mentioned that she had collected flags at a much faster pace than the other team, even though she was solo. Krishna’s determination was clear, and she was ready to fight back stronger in the upcoming stunt.
In Sunday’s episode, Krishna faced a task involving electric shocks, which initially terrified her. Despite her fear of this stunt specifically, she pushed through the task and saved herself from eliminations, placing second amongst three other strong contenders. Her final stunt was an underwater challenge against, being her last chance to secure a spot in the TOP 5. The stunt required swimming through an underwater tunnel with air pockets at intervals, where keys were placed to unlock sections leading to the finish point. As expected, Krishna dominated the challenge, and completed the stunt in 1 minute and 53 seconds, while her opponent took 4 minutes and 52 seconds. With this victory, Krishna not only became a finalist but also the only female in the TOP 5.
Beyond ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’, Krishna is also focused on expanding her successful MMA Matrix Gym franchise. After the flagship gym in Mumbai, the franchise is now growing with branches in cities such as Pune, Pathankot, Lucknow, Solapur, and Kolkata.
