As we come to the end of 2024, the cast of Lakshmi Niwas share their special and memorable moments from the year gone by.
Divya Pugavkar, who plays Janhavi, said, “The best memory of 2024 was finding out I was cast in Lakshmi Nivas. I always wish to have another project lined up as soon as one ends—it’s a personal achievement for me. I’ve been in the industry for 7-8 years, and I’ve been fortunate to always have work. I hope it continues this way, not just for me but for other actors too. One thing I couldn’t do in 2024 was learn driving, but I plan to fix that.”
Harshada Khanvilkar, who plays Lakshmi, shared, “In 2024, I manifested a different kind of role for myself. I would often tell my friends and family that I wanted to play a simple, graceful character. They would laugh because I’ve mostly played strong, powerful women. Even I wondered if I could pull off such a role. I kept telling the universe about my wish, and it answered with Lakshmi Nivas. Playing Lakshmi is a dream come true. I also wanted to travel in 2024, but my busy schedule didn’t allow it. However, being busy with work is a blessing in itself.”
Akshaya Deodhar, who portrays Bhavna, said, “2024 was an incredible year for me, although it didn’t start off great. This year marked my return to Zee Marathi. Another big milestone was starting my own business, something I always wanted to do. There are still many things I wish to accomplish, but one regret is that I started my weight loss journey a bit late. 2024 taught me that stepping out of your comfort zone is essential, whether in work or personal life.”
