Laxmi Niwas is the story of a middle-class couple with a dream of building their own home. Laxmi, who grew up in a wealthy family, eloped with Srinivas due to her immense love for him, cutting all ties with her family. Unable to bear the humiliation of not having their own home, she vowed not to return to her maternal house until she had one.
The couple’s life flourished, and they now have three sons, three daughters, and Srinivas’s mother in their large family. However, challenges remain, including marrying off their daughters, managing the monthly household expenses of a big family, and uniting the diverse personalities under one roof. Amid these challenges, Laxmi and Srinivas set aside their own desires to fulfill their ultimate dream of owning a house.
The show is written by Sayali Kedar and produced by Creative Mind Sunil Bhosale.
For the first time in Marathi television history, Laxmi Niwas will air a 1-hour episode every day. This daily 1-hour format is a first of its kind. Don’t miss this relatable story of a middle-class couple tackling challenges and keeping their family united.
