A cricket match will be the highlight of the special episode of the serial Tula Japnar Aahe. But before that, let’s see what’s happening off the field in the story.
Atharva is starting to change because of Meera’s words. He has agreed to participate in the pre-engagement rituals. A saree-hunting game is held, during which Meera ends up bringing the saree because of Ambika’s interference. During a ceremony to worship a special saree, Ambika deliberately tries to stain it, but Meera manages to protect it just in time.
Meanwhile, Dadasaheb meets Shivnath. While all this is happening in one part of the show, in another scene, Atharva learns that Veda has a holiday while arguing with Meera. He decides to organize a cricket match so he can spend time with his daughter. Two teams are formed, and Atharva hopes Veda will be on his team—but she ends up on Meera’s team instead. A fun and playful match ensues, with Meera and Veda playing on the same side. The entire event is planned by Atharva just to make Veda happy.
Talking about this experience, Mahima Mhatre, who plays Meera, shared her excitement about playing cricket on set, “We were shooting the cricket match during the episode. Even though it was hot outside, playing cricket with the entire team was a lot of fun. In one scene, Maya pushes me—and she accidentally pushed a bit too hard, so I fell and even got slightly hurt. But alongside the shoot, we were also genuinely playing cricket on set. It was really enjoyable, especially because I got to hold a bat after so many years. I even bowled a bit and tried spin bowling—it was partly successful, partly a flop! To keep us going in the heat, our spot dadas on set were making lemon juice for us, which helped keep our energy up.”
